I teach and research in the communications field at Okanagan College in Kelowna, British Columbia, with a focus on rhetoric, discourse and persuasion. I address questions pertaining to all forms of media, from traditional/mainstream to digital/alternative/social. I am also teaching video game studies and working on new skills in digital storytelling and basic game development.
After my BA in Journalism and Mass-Communication obtained at the University of Bucharest, I continued my graduate studies in Canada where I completed a MA (Communication) at University of Calgary and a Ph.D. (Communication) from Concordia University in Montreal.
